We triple filter our wax! It is mold ready when you receive it. How clean is our wax? Look at the photo of our wax freshly poured in a mold. You can see right through it with out a single speck of dirt.

We offer our 1 lb white wax in blocks and pastilles. Blocks are more compact, easier to ship and handle. Pastilles are easy to measure. We can also custom mold wax to your specifications on request.

This beeswax color is WHITE, from new honeycomb unused by bees and capping removed in the harvesting of honey.

Why is triple filtering important?
When first melted in hot water, honeycomb contains honey, bees, propolis, cocoons, dirt and other insects. Honey and insects drop to the bottom of the water and the wax floats to the top. After cooling, dirt on the bottom of the block is scraped off. Most contaminates are removed in this step.

The wax is melted a second time and poured through a cloth filter to remove most of the remaining contaminants.

The hot wax is then poured through a second cloth filter as it is transferred to molds. This three stage process removes 99.9% of contaminates. Sometimes a casting is still found to be too dirty for sale and is placed back in the melted wax for re-processing.
